PROBLEMS |
CAUSES |
SOLUTIONS |
The system does not operate when a detector is wet. |
1. Bad connection in the power supply. |
1. Verify the wiring and ensure connections are made properly...Short circuit the terminal detectors directly at the source. Then the system should operate properly. |
2. Detectors wiring is damaged. |
2. Starting from detectors terminal, verify the wires, beginning by the closiest detector till the last one. |
3. Electronical problem occured. |
3. Change circuit board . |
The system works but does not close totally the water supply. |
1. The enclosure undergoes a lateral pressure. |
1. Minimum clearance all around the system must be 2 inches minimum. |
2. Because the poor quality of water, oxidization on the inside wall of the collar, makes more difficult the sliding movement of the stem. |
2. Change the collar. |
The system has false alarm. |
1. Dust accumulation on the detectors. (model DF1 ) |
1. Wipe off the detectors periodically with a wet cloth.(replace the detector by model DS2 ) |
2. "AQUA-STOP" system is connected on the same electrical circuit than such appliances as a freezer, an humidifier, etc. |
2. Change system 's power supply source. |
